We shall see where the game development goes, as it's possible that bar may change. I believe the aim is to continue to improve the graphics of the client so that maximum settings pretty much max out the best graphics cards, while still allowing dialling down the settings to optimise for performance on very low end machines. The graphics is not at all good at this level, but the system response is usually pretty good.
There are some who still play with the graphics dialled down to a minimum and the whole screen taken up by overview and various other tables. They never actually look at the battle, and indeed you don't need to if you learn to "fly by instruments" so to speak.... |

The Command and Conquer/Red Alert style eve experience never happened... hell Drone PVE never happened.. I still support CCP when they show love for Dust but won't be spending my money on Eve until they get Dust back on track.
But yes the PVP rush is real... Eve PVP can not be replicated in any other game. Dust replicated the community and loss experience but never got the complete PVP Rush down. I had four accounts, but dialled it down to just the main one when I started playing Dust. I still have a pretty powerful Gallente alt on my second account that I may transfer across to the main one. Or I may simply reactivate the second account and have access to both accounts and their various alts at the same time. I had actually set up the four chars on my first two accounts to be cynoalts for each other so I could be logged into both at the same time and set up cynos to jump with them. I have a number of ships that can do such jumps including a Widow which I have yet to use in battle. Can't wait to see what it can do! :) |

Because I misread a post. But yeah, I'm pretty sure most pocket calculators will run eve now. I actually had it running on a netbook with an atom processor! It didn't do much but I'm sure I could have gone into battle on that. :) |

All you have to do find your favorite ship and how you like to kill your opponent For example I like stealth bombing and the Amarr Purifier is perfect for the job The Caldari Manitcore for me! ;) |
